Well, if we were to start an on-line broadcast operation (and we are) I don’t think I would associate it with human waste.  Not intentionally!  I suppose it takes all sorts.  Anyhow, the programme list for The Political Cesspool looks more interesting than the name would suggest.

Early this evening (UK time) Dr Tom Sunic circularised me with the link to his TPC interview, which was recorded in Croatia and is scheduled for broadcast at 7.00pm CST.  MR readers who catch the broadcast are definitely invited to post their impressions to the thread below.

If not quite with TPC’s effluent-chic we, too, are venturing into the exciting world of sound.  Next week, in fact.  Again, the MO will be in-depth political interviews, conducted for us by the inimitable and ingenious Søren Renner.  He will begin with MR folk but, we hope, spread his wings far and wide from there.  I’ve drawn the short straw for Interview 1, which will doubtless make everybody who comes after look very good indeed.

Our fine national media today reported the end of the trial of three Pakistanis, Faisal Mushtaq, 27, Zeeshan Shahid, 28, and his brother Imran Shahid, 29, for the kidnap and most cruel murder of 15-year old Kriss Donald in Glasgow in 2004.

Kriss’ murder was the worst racially-motivated killing ever to occur in Britain.  The life sentences reflect that and Kriss’ family have indicated satisfaction at their minimum terms of 27, 22 and 23 years respectively.  The sentencing statement of the judge, Lord Uist, can be read here, courtesy of the BBC.

The BBC also courteously informed us that racism and race crime is not actually an Original Sin of white people.  No, it has been “redefined “, apparently.  Now it can include black and Asian thugs.  One can only wonder what their race crimes were before the redefinition.  A bit of noisy joshing around, I suppose, while knifing some poor white bastard for purely economic reasons.

It has taken some appalling murders and the black v brown riots last year in Lozells to drag the liberal mind reluctantly towards this “redefinition”.  And now we see why the coverage of Kriss’ case has been so shamefully absent until today.  It’s the same reason the BBC felt compelled to put the “redefinition” piece on-line.  They are trying to slip-slide away from the charge that for decade after decade they have played a venomous game with race.

Racial violence: The ugly facts

Late one night last November, Sanjay heard a noise outside the front of his house. A circle of rowdy teenagers were on the lawn. They were throwing small stones at the door and window of his house where he lives with his mother and two sisters.

“Go back to your own country,” one shouted. “Get out and don’t come back.”

The other things they said were too awful to repeat, said 20-year-old Sanjay - not his real name.

Sanjay lives in a council house in Greenwich, south-east London, just a few miles from where Stephen Lawrence was murdered in 1993. While most racial incidents don’t end in murder there are dozens like this every week ...

How to avoid getting a well-deserved, red-hot right-wing poker up your liberal jacksie, that’s the BBC’s problem now.  And that’s what the long silence and the sudden “redefinition” are really about.  Quite disgusting intellectual cowardice.

Three-quarters of black males in Britain are on the DNA database.  Blame white racism.

Lip-flapper Trevor Phillips - The E-Man - has been making those smooth, self-promotional moves again.  This time:-

Race watchdogs are to investigate the national DNA database over revelations that up to three quarters of young black men will soon have their profiles stored.

Trevor Phillips, the chairman of the Commission for Racial Equality (CRE), vowed to examine whether the database breached race relations laws following the findings by The Sunday Telegraph. “This is tantamount to criminalising a generation of young black men,” he said.

An estimated 135,000 black males aged 15 to 34 will be entered in the crime-fighting- database by April, equivalent to as many as 77 per cent of the young black male population in England and Wales. By contrast, only 22 per cent of young white males, and six per cent of the general population, will be on the database.

... Mr Phillips disclosed that his officials will investigate whether the policy of retaining DNA from suspects who are never convicted of a crime results in discrimination against black men, who are more likely to come into contact with police than their white counterparts.

... “As enforcers of the Race Relations Act, the CRE will be investigating if this complies with the race equality duty to promote positive race relations. If we discover that the database fails to comply with the law, than we have to consider what legal steps we can take.”

The new figures, calculated from the Home Office’s own projections, will fuel fears that Britain is becoming a “surveillance society” in which some ethnic groups are monitored more closely than others.

So many questions go unasked here ... and all to maintain the fiction that multiracialism can work.

Low IQs are Africa’s curse, says lecturer

One man who does have an answer is LSE lecturer, Satoshi Kanazawa.  But then he is that evil old thing, a sociobiologist.

The London School of Economics is embroiled in a row over academic freedom after one of its lecturers published a paper alleging that African states were poor and suffered chronic ill-health because their populations were less intelligent than people in richer countries.

Satoshi Kanazawa, an evolutionary psychologist, is now accused of reviving the politics of eugenics by publishing the research which concludes that low IQ levels, rather than poverty and disease, are the reason why life expectancy is low and infant mortality high. His paper, published in the British Journal of Health Psychology, compares IQ scores with indicators of ill health in 126 countries and claims that nations at the top of the ill health league also have the lowest intelligence ratings.

The Daily Record - but seemingly not yet the BBC - is reporting proceedings in the Edinburgh High Court against the last three men accused of the race hate abduction and murder of Kriss Donald in March 2004.  The accused are Mohammed Mushtaq, 27, Imran Shahid, 29, and Zeeshan Shahid, 29.  All plead not guilty.  The trial commenced on 2nd October and is expected to last six weeks.

One man, shopkeeper Daanish Zahid, was found guilty of Kriss’s murder almost a year ago and sentenced to serve a minimum of 17 years.  Another, Zahid Mohammed, was jailed for five years (meaning 30 months) for the abduction.

A comparison of Google search results soon tells you the value of a white life: a search for “Kriss Donald” produces about 167,000 entries.  “Anthony Walker”, however, produces about 18,800,000, headed by a tribute site.  Anthony was killed by a single blow to the head on 30th July, 2005.  So it isn’t the passage of time and it isn’t the brutality of the crime that accounts for the disparity in coverage.

In what I can only presume to be a superb piece of irony, the Deputy Chair of the Commission for Racial Equality and Commisisoner for Scotland, Kay Hampton, offered the following statement after Zahid’s sentencing:-

This sentencing sends a clear sign that racism, wherever it comes from, is always deplorable. We recognise that all of those implicated in the murder have not yet been brought before the courts and our thoughts and sympathy remain with Kriss’s family at this time.

Glasgow’s communities have united since Kriss’s murder and we hope they will continue to stand together and guard against anyone who tries to exploit this tragic situation for political gain.

Of course, no political capital whatsoever was made of the murder of Stephen Lawrence, as we all know (Google search about 32,400,000).

Meanwhile, another appalling murder for which Asians are charged is receiving even less media attention than Kriss’s case.  Since March I have been able to find absolutely nothing on the fate of the two men accused in the ghoulish and peadophiliac killing of 14-year old Charlene Downes.  The trial of Iyad Albattikhi, 28, and Mohammed Raveshi, 49, was scheduled to begin in June of this year.  There are no recent reports in the electronic editions of the local Blackpool or Lancashire papers and, of course, not a mention of the case in the national media.  One hopes that that merely indicates a lengthy adjournment.

Charlene’s google search total is about 50,500.

What a coup the Adnan Hajj affair has been for the alternative media.  LGF and Power Line have emerged as winners, and LGF has had to put up an apology to readers for its difficulty in handling the increased traffic.  While they were no doubt motivated merely by a pro-Bush-Israel agenda, they nevertheless struck another blow for journalistic integrity.  The pity is that the real lack of integrity in the liberal media only interests majority rightists, to which estate neither LGF nor Power Line aspire.

Still, it’s been fun to see Reuters snap to attention and the The Guardian drone on about proportionate representation of the facts.  As if.

Another day, another dolorous tale or two of vibrancy in ascensio.  Our perfect new society of universally loved beings, every one of ‘em angelically equal at birth from the neck up and encumbered only by a few trifling, culturally relative old habits, has today had a shocking fact about itself blazoned across the Telegraph.  It is a world in which cruelty to innocence prospers.

Children as young as six are being brought to Britain in their hundreds every year to be used as “slave labour” in sweatshops, private homes and cannabis factories.

The children are transported from all over Africa, Asia and eastern Europe by ruthless and highly organised gangs of traffickers.

Many are taken with the unwitting consent of their parents, who pay up to £3,000, believing the traffickers’ claims that their children are going to a better life - and will be able to send money home.

The victims are smuggled into Britain or brought in on false passports by adults posing as relatives.  They are put to work immediately, live in appalling conditions and are subjected to physical and sexual abuse.

The scale of the crisis - which has spread from London to Liverpool, Manchester and Newcastle - is revealed in a consultation paper presented to the Home Office by a coalition of nine charities including Unicef, Save the Children and the NSPCC.

... Children from China, Vietnam and Malaysia, have been found in sweatshops, restaurants and suburban cannabis factories.  African children are often put into domestic servitude, working long hours for little or no reward.

Eastern European children tend to be used to beg and steal - and many more are likely to arrive next year when Romania and Bulgaria are expected to join the European Union.

Teenagers in east London are forming their own brand of English and pushing out traditional Cockney slang, according to language experts.

A study by Sue Fox, from London’s Queen Mary’s College, found words such as “nang” - meaning good - were commonly used by youths in inner London.

Ms Fox said this “Multicultural London English” was influenced by a variety of languages such as Jamaican and Indian.

Youths in outer London had a stronger association with the Cockney accent.

Researchers attributed this to the population movement out of London.

But it is that of a Scot, nineteen-year old Thomas Waddell, who raped and strangled an Asian woman, Farah Noor Adams, 34.

The BBC thinks we should hear a lot about this murder, and has taken the time and effort to inform us here, here, here and here.  Oh, then there is here, here and here.

The Scotsman reported the case here, telling us that:-

Ms Adams, a well-known community activist and volunteer, was separated from her husband, an Asian Muslim.

Her father, Haji, is a leading member of the city’s Muslim community, involved in the care of Glasgow Central Mosque.

In point of fact, this fine, upstanding Scottish rag covered the story in even greater detail than the Beeb.

But lest you think that is simply because of the Scottish connection, think again.  Here is the Telegraph, The Mail and The Independent.

Meanwhile, the story of Charlene Downes goes unreported - except, according to the BNP website, by the Manchester Metro paper edition, which notes:-

The body of a missing schoolgirl may have been turned into burgers and kebabs and served up at a seaside fast food outlet.

Police fear the remains of 14 year old Charlene Downes, who went missing in November 2003, may also have been ground up into tile grout.

Iyad Albattikhi, 28, who ran the Funny Boyz takeaway in Blackpool, is charged with her murder.

The co-owner of the business Mohammed Raveshi, a 49 year old former social services worker and foster father, is charged with assisting in the disposal of her body.

The men appeared at a hearing at Blackpool maistrates court yesterday.

The teenager whose body has never been found left home on Halloween saying she was meeting friends on Blackpool’s North Pier.
