The Globe and Mail reports that:

The U.S. housing crash may prove to be the economic equivalent of the canary in the coal mine — a warning of impending danger in an economy that has surged too far, too fast. Many experts are now openly speculating about a possible U.S. recession next year, brought on by consumers reacting to the shrinking value of their nest egg. If they’re right, the fallout could prove to be far nastier than the collapse of the technology bubble at the start of the decade.

And, as I already predicted, this will prevent the Federal Reserve from raising interest rates despite the rise of inflation.  This in turn will lead to a return of reserve currency from abroad and the first signs of hyperinflation could appear within a year.  The younger population is no longer the white boomers entering their first years of marriage as it was the last time the Federal Reserve needed to raise interest rates dramatically to stomp out inflation (actually stagflation).  Think of interest rates like a tax transferring wealth from the middle class to the wealthy. If you’ve already transferred net assets to the wealthy, and while doing so you’ve gutted your human capital with genocide as they did against the fertility of the boomer generation then the good old days of Paul Volker’s interest rate spike driven into the heart of stagflation just aren’t an option for the parasites anymore.

“Thermobaric Urban Destruction” is the title of the “users manual” for the latest weapon being deployed by US Marines against “urban targets”.  Basically it is a cheap, highly portable building leveler that mixes “fuel” with air and then sparks it.  This could backfire.  Seriously backfire.  As in “Burning Down the Civilization” backfire.  Thermobarics, as a kind of fuel-air explosive technology, use air for the oxydizer, into which a fuel is sprayed—sort of the way coal mine dust, grain elevator dust and natural gas leak explosions do.  Unlike Ammonium Nitrate Fuel Oil (ANFO), you can’t lock onto a substance like ammonium nitrate for detection and control, anymore than you can control access to, uhm, air.  That means you can’t use a substance-control strategy against them without getting rid of gasoline, diesel, natural gas—you know—fuel.  Since everyone drives around in vehicles with tanks filled with the chemical energy equivalent of 500lbs of explosives just waiting for a technology to disperse it efficiently into an aerosol near an enemy’s real estate assets (and/or the enemy himself), it is rather easy to imagine things getting out of hand if the right aerosol technology gets developed.  And with the critical materials so redily available, experimentation with techniques for dispersal—techniques that don’t require a lot in the way of special equipment or materials—will evolve Improvised Explosive Devices terribly rapidly.

To sum up, with the US deploying thermobarics in Iraq for demolishing buildings and killing their occupants, I can easily imagine two things happening:

1. The Iraqi resistance will start to use it in an “open source” developed Improvised Explosive Device.
2. US Hispanic soldiers will acquire this “open source” technology while in Iraq and do a “technology transfer” to US gangs as they have already done with other technology acquired during military service in Iraq.

Once that happends the days of Timothy McVeigh will seem like “the good old days”.

Some pictures and footage of an anti-immigrant riot in Russia that aren’t covered in their MSM are, of course, making the rounds of some blogs.  There is increasing use of broadband in Russia so it will be more than the employer class, let alone oligarch class, that will see this.  This riot is in the small city of Kondopoga, in Russian (East) Karelia. (Karelia is a historically ethnically Finnish area subject to border disputes with Scandinavian states such as Sweden but almost all residents of Kondopoga are Russian.)

It looks like the idiots that be are trying to deep-six Mike Judge’s new film “Idiocracy” by releasing it yesterday (Sept 1, 2006) in only 7 cities and only grassroots publicity driving awareness.  “Idiocracy” is a satire about the results of the current dysgenic genocidal pogrom, breeding the populous for stupidity.  Of course, in order to get past the censors, the movie portrays the “idiots”, who breed-like-cockroaches-while-on-welfare,  as “white trash”.  However, the message strikes too close to home for the idiots that be.  They can’t let this one go into wide distribution without a fight.  They may have one.  Unlike “People I Know” (watch the deleted scenes and keep in mind it was filmed before 9/11/2001) which was deep-sixed with a no-publicity limited release to bad venues, “Idiocracy” has an enormous grassroots constituency that has pubicized it despite the studio’s utter lack of publicity.

The US is trumpeting an antiballistic missile system that can knock down “North Korean missiles”.

This is a real howler of a joke.

The security of US cities depends almost exclusively on the effectiveness of the Mexican Coast Guard keeping weapons of mass destruction from entering Mexico and hence the US via the psychotic border policy of the powers that be.  I mean as they never tire of telling us “It is useless to build a fence along the Mexican border because it won’t stop the flow of…”

What?  Finish the sentence, you psycho clowns who call yourselves our leaders.

This essay is my response to VDARE’s publication of a piece by Steve Sailer on Aug. 27, 2006.  VDARE declined to publish this response.

Steve Sailer’s essay, purportedly about an editorial project by the late Samuel Francis, was shallow and misleading. Sailer even saw fit to compare one of the writings to a book about penguins in a heavy-handed way to show witty contempt.

The Red Herring: Who Is White?

After briefly reviewing the Francis editorial project, Sailer abruptly raises the divisive question, “Who Is White?” which torments no one who has a decent sense of self-respect, and as a way to muddy up the overall issue.

And that question in this context on an immigration reform web site should provide the definitive anecdote illustrating the meaning of “red herring” in all dictionaries.  Addressing it as a weighty and oh-so-difficult matter, Sailer pretends to ponder whether Muslims, Iranians, Arabs, Chechens, Turks, Albanians, Greeks, Sicilians, and Jews are white.

Who Is White Answered

But the answer to “Who is white?” is simplicity itself.

White people are those young and old people who are attacked for being white on college campuses, on television news and entertainment programs, in the print media, and on sidewalks and playgrounds. White people have their whiteness defined for them by denunciation.

On the West Coast, media typically list major demographic groups with these labels: “African-American, Asian-American, and white.”  White people are those people given the label that has two negative characteristics: no capital letter and no American status. (Unless the label is “non-Hispanic white” which has three negative characteristics.)

White people are the ones never described as diverse or vibrant or culturally enriching.

White people are told that they have all the power, but who find that they do not have the power to choose their neighbors, their employees, and their children’s schools, or to end the campaign of defamation that flows over their children every day via the dominant media culture and the corporate entertainment culture.

Getting Down And Wrestling

Sailer’s next topic is his claim that “white Americans these days really don’t like getting down and wrestling with the Al Sharptons [sic] of the world for racial spoils.”  But he cites no evidence for this over-wrought claim and, in fact, Al Sharpton is probably the most wrestled with African-American ever. Consider the smackdown administered to him by an Italian-American attorney over the false claims of a kidnapping some years ago.  Sailer typically picked the worst example he could have so far as “getting down and wrestling” is concerned.

Our Friendly-Enemies

Unfortunately, Sailer’s ideological wanderings have yet to come home to a sensible place, and those of us who are conscious of the campaign of defamation against young European Americans need to speak out when needed against our friendly-enemies like Steve Sailer, Mark Steyn, Lawrence Auster, Henry Makow, Israel Shamir, and Eric Margolis.  Their advice, like their friendship, is tainted with strawmen, red herrings, slurs, hate caricatures, misleading historical bits, a supremacist claim to have the right to tell us what our name is and how we should think, unworthy vocabulary tricks, and/or the selection of their enemies for European Americans to hate and fear, too.

Immigration Reform

If friendly-enemies can help in the fight for responsible immigration, let’s welcome them to that fight.  However, the only line in Sailer’s essay that touched on immigration reform was, “Today, Karl Rove swearing allegiance in person to the immigration goals of the National Council of La Raza is considered somewhere between unobjectionable and admirable.”

That’s not enough to justify Sailer’s long-winded and mendacious attempt on an immigration reform web-site to describe and define whites, much less to prescribe how European Americans should think and feel about themselves.

One of the great questions of modern American politics is why FDR’s administration and the New Deal were never properly connected with the political theory of fascism in general and Mussolini in particular. While doing some research, I found this article from Chronicles Magazine which does a fairly good job of laying out the historical facts:

Until Abyssinia, Mussolini was hailed as a genius and a superman on both sides of the Atlantic, primarily because of his economic and social policies.  When FDR was inaugurated in March 1933, the world was praising Mussolini’s success in avoiding the Great Depression.  Roosevelt and his “Brain Trust,” the architects of the New Deal, were fascinated by Italy’s fascism—a term which was not perjorative at the time.  In America, it was seen as a form of economic nationalism built around consensus planning by the established elites in government, business, and labor.

The New York Times reports that:

Three decades ago, in 1973, 78 percent of the students attending the nation’s public schools were white and 22 percent were minorities, a category including blacks, Hispanics, Asians and Pacific Islanders, and “other,” according to Education Department statistics. In 2004, the last year for which numbers were available, 57 percent of all public school students were white, while 43 percent were minorities.
