Russian president Vladimir Putin has openly declared himself on the side of those who oppose the nonwhite “refugee”-invasion of Europe, saying that Russia “likes” the position of “defend[ing] European identity.”
Putin’s remarks, made during a joint press conference with visiting Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban in Moscow yesterday, are the clearest indication yet that a new eastern European-based bloc is forming up against western European liberalism and the racial suicide of German Chancellor Angela Merkel and her allies.
During the meeting the two leaders discussed a range of issues including the invasion of the European Union by millions of bogus refugees, and the role of terrorism in causing the invasion.
“The reason for the current refugee issue is the destabilization of states in entire world regions — Northern Africa, Afghanistan and other countries. In order to solve the refugee issue the prime cause should be eliminated. The countries’ statehood, economy and social sphere must be restored so that people can live in their own country or return there,” Putin said.
In what way are the flags together behind them?
He added that he shared Orban’s views on the causes of the refugee crisis, saying that their opinions “largely coincide” and that the “position of Hungary and its prime minister, which is to defend European identity, the identity of one’s country and people, is likable to us.”
The EU already has formal sanctions against Russia since July 2014, when “restrictive measures” were imposed in response to the ongoing conflict in the Ukraine, which the EU blames on Russia.
According to those sanctions, EU nationals and companies are forbidden from making major financial investments in Russian state banks, energy or defense companies, or from selling or buying arms or items which could have military applications. In addition, it is illegal to sell equipment and technology used for certain types of oil exploration and production to Russia.
Although the Hungarian government initially supported the EU sanctions against Russia, Orban said yesterday at the press conference that the time to extend the sanctions had passed, and that more EU countries are starting to oppose the restrictions on Moscow.
“I believe that this period is behind us… I think that in 2016, by mid-year, it will be impossible for the European Union to automatically extend the sanctions… All the countries of the EU are beginning to understand that it is necessary to cooperate. I think there is a chance that we will work together,” Orban said.
Perhaps the commentariat can help decipher this. There should be nothing against Russia as a reasonably delimited and potentially cooperative ethnosstate - as opposed to being a multi-racial and Jewish influenced Federal empire (not entirely unlike The U.S.) that interferes with the vital interests of Europe.
I guess the first question to ask is, what does Putin mean by “non-white” when he expresses a wish to cooperate against the non-White invasion of Europe. Could it be part of a problem-reaction-soluton scenario, in which Putin’s regime is going to provide the “solution.” ?
And what of Orban? Have we been desperately appreciative of his display of ethnocentrism and assertion of national bounds - things which should be merely normal - ignoring his Christianity and other potential non-European influences in the manner that some were desperately appreciative of the neo-cons and now desperately appreciative of Trump and therefore blind to some ritical influences?
It is perhaps not being too critical to again raise skepticism of some politics circulating among Hungary, whether in its Christianity, in regard to Jobbik, its connections to Jews and Turks, the Pan Eurasian movement, etc.

Finnish news agency STT reports a Russian border guard’s confession that the transport of asylum seekers to Finland’s two northeast border crossings is being orchestrated by the Russian Federation’s Federal Security Service, the FSB. Families with children are given priority, the source said. Finnish authorities have suspected for some time that the transfer of asylum seekers from Russia to Finland has been part of a carefully organised operation.
The Tampere-based newspaper Aamulehti reported on Saturday that a Russian border guard told the Finnish news agency STT that the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation (FSB) has arranged asylum seeker access to the Finnish border. The FSB organises the traffic in concert with the Kandalaksha district administration of Russia’s Murmansk region and the Russian Border Guard.
The board guard source says the FSB decides which car moves at what time and how it can proceed to the border. The state-sponsored organisation gives priority to families with small children, the source reveals.
An STT photographer who visited the Russian side of the Salla border crossing told the Finnish tabloid Ilta-Sanomat that he had seen asylum seekers waiting in their cars in the Russian city of Alakurtti, located about 70 kilometres from the border. The photographer said there were dozens of cars with asylum seekers waiting there, cut off by a boom that allowed other cars to pass.
The Finnish commercial television station MTV says the photographer later picked up a Border Guard employee whose car had stalled in the cold. During their journey together, the Russian guard told the Finn about the Russian asylum seeker operation.
Finns suspected organised activity
Several Finnish authorities have gone public recently with their suspicion that the transfer of asylum seekers from Russia to Finland is an organised effort. On Yle’s morning programme Saturday, MEPs Jussi Halla-aho and Petri Sarvamaa said they believe Russia is using the migrant crisis to gain foreign policy leverage.
Foreign Minister Timo Soini met with officials at the Lapland border stations early Saturday morning and said the visit confirmed his suspicion that the asylum seeker traffic there is arranged by Russian enablers.
“The impression that someone is organising and regulating things on the Russian side is probably true. Border guard employees don’t play politics, they jointly take care of cross-border traffic. It is quite obvious that activity like this is a managed effort,” he said.
Reality is an interesting thing, isn’t it?
But if a person has been reading most European ethno-nationalist news sites a person would surely have been led to believe that Russia is a ‘friend’ of Europe, and that the Russian Federation is the last hope for Europe, and that they alone will defend Europe. Or something like that.
Do not be deceived, Russia wants to see the European Union collapse and is more than happy to assist in that process, while simultaneously pretending that they are not involved in it.

Ahead of a Friday evening meeting with Finnish President Niinistö, the Russian PM is quoted as saying that Moscow cannot stop asylum seekers from crossing into Finland.
Finnish President Sauli Niinistö meets with Russian Prime Minister Dmitri Medvedev on Friday evening on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference. The two are likely to discuss the migrant situation along the countries’ mutual border, where the number of arriving asylum seekers has been surging in recent weeks.
Medvedev was earlier in the day quoted as saying that Russia does not intend to prevent asylum seekers’ movement toward the Finnish border.
The quote was posted on the Russian government website as part of its version of the premier’s interview with the German newspaper Handelsblatt – although the business daily’s published interview does not include any mention of Finland. In the official transcript, Medvedev says that Russia cannot stop asylum seekers from crossing into Finland.
“No legal grounds” to stop migrants
He is also quoted as saying that Niinistö and Finnish Prime Minister Juha Sipilä are very concerned about the situation, but that Russia does not have any legal grounds to stop those heading west into Finland. Medvedev met with Sipilä in St Petersburg in late January.
Medvedev notes that Russia is a party to the European Convention on Human Rights. He insisted that Russia has no bad intentions and does not plan to send excessive numbers of asylum seekers into Finland.
Finland’s 1340-kilometre border with Russia is the EU’s longest.
See, the Russian-Jew Prime Minister Dmitry (((Medvedev))) says that there are ‘no bad intentions’! He can totally be trusted, right? Jews may not flock to Russia upon Putin’s offer, as New Observer quotes Mikhail Skoblionok saying, but they’re already comfortably affixed there. The reason they may not flock there from other places is because the parasitic ways they established there have already desiccated the economy of that host -
European Jews will not take up Vladimir Putin’s recent offer to take “refuge” in Russia, even though the Russian Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Minister are Jews, Mikhail Skoblionok, a leading member of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress has said.
Writing in the Tatar news website Realnoe Vremya, Skoblionok, (here in Russian, and here in English) who also is president of the Jewish National and Cultural Autonomy of Tatarstan, said that “a Jew of sound judgment won’t go to Russia.”
Putin made the offer last month in a meeting with members of the European Jewish Congress (EJC) that took place in the Kremlin. Moshe Vyacheslav Kantor, EJC president, complained to Putin about the rising anti-Semitism across Europe and the growing number of attacks against Jews.
Putin replied: “Let [the Jews] come to us then,” adding that “during the Soviet period they were leaving the country, and now they should return.”
Skoblionok, who represents the 10,000 Jews in the Republic of Tatarstan, a federal state of the Russian Federation in the Volga Federal District, expressed his doubt that Jews would take up Putin’s suggestion.
“To start with, I will describe the situation in Israel,” Skoblionok said.
“There is a tendency there: French Jews have been buying up apartments in Israel for the last five years. There are houses but the light is off. I am asking, ‘Why is the light off? Are these apartments empty?’
“People say that French Jews bought up these apartments and keep them in store. They are afraid that France will become a merely Muslim state so have prepared reserve flats,” he wrote, indicating that Jews were preparing to leave France in large numbers in the case of an emergency.
“My friends, who go to France, note that the Arab people are crowded into the country. Arabs will soon account for 80 percent of the population, like our Far East is populated by Chinese people,” he continued, in this case referring to the colonization of the far eastern regions of Russia.
“The population of ethnic French people is reducing in number; they are not reproducing, unlike the Arabs. The Muslims have large families there—sometimes a family has fifteen children,” Skoblionok pointed out.
“France lacks space, and Jews go to other countries where there is work and an opportunity to make money. The number of attacks based on national and religious beliefs is increasing in Europe. There is hysteria among the Arabs too. Europe fears a pogrom against Jews, and this feeling is strongly noticed in France,” he said.
Skoblionok then went on to discuss Putin’s proposal: “Vladimir Putin always knows what to do and say. But a Jew of sound judgement won’t go to Russia,” he said.
“I will explain why. Our country is at the height of an economic crisis. There is a huge gap between the rich and the poor which does not exist in many other countries. The rich buy villas, hotels, and yachts abroad, while the poor simply have nothing to eat. A revolution may yet come about here,” he said—ignoring the fact that he is one of the “rich” himself, having become the oligarch head of the natural gas exploration and petroleum production company TAkPO CJSC in 1987—and then buying it when privatization came after the fall of Communism.
“The Jews all over the world know and have assessed this situation. This is why I don’t think that there will be a mad rush of Jews from the whole world to Russia.”
However, he then said that that there was no danger to Jews in Russia.
Under the heading “Country headed by Jews,” Skoblionok said that “in Russia, the attitude of both ordinary citizens and the government to the Jews is good.
“In addition, there are large numbers of Jews in the Russian government. [Prime Minister Dmitry] Medvedev has Jewish roots. [Deputy Prime Minister Arkady] Dvorkovich is Jewish. What attitude will they have to themselves?” he rhetorically asked.
Even so, he went on, in his own region of Tatarstan, “the situation is different. The regional government has no Jews [in it].”
He told of how a local synagogue had failed to be given land next to its building, even though they had won the rights to it in court.
This piece of land, he lamented, “will be up for auction. And we were told ‘go and buy it’ [instead of getting it for nothing].”
“What Jew will come here?” he concluded.

Beyonce made a stirring political statement during the Super Bowl halftime show, in what appears to be a tribute to the Black Panthers, a ‘60s group that advocated violence to correct racial injustice.
The singer was flanked by backup dancers who wore berets, similar to the berets worn by the group. They also raised their fists, symbolic of the Black Power movement.
At one point the dancers posed with a sign that read “Justice 4 Mario Woods,” the man shot and killed by San Francisco cops.
The dancers on the field also formed an “X” on the field, which seemed symbolic of civil rights militant Malcolm X. Beyonce also had a strap on her chest in the form of an “X”.
Malcolm X: “The Honorable Elijah Muhammad said the black man will rule.”
Tina Knowles posed with the dancers, fists raised high.

Three Jewish fraudsters who fleeced investors out of £79.5milion and blew the cash on ‘Bentleys, yachts and million pound houses’ are facing years behind bars.
Spencer Steinberg, 45, Jolan Saunders, 39 and Michael Strubel, 53 claimed they had won a contract to supply electricals to the Olympic Village ahead of the 2012 London games.
They said Saunders Electrical Wholesalers Limited (SEWL) also supplied goods such as including trouser presses and kettles to major hotel chains. But it was just a shabby high street electrical retailer in east London – a ‘one man and a van operation’.
Victims were persuaded to invest hundreds of thousands over a period of two months so SEWL could meet urgent orders, then paid seemingly sky-high returns. They were then asked if they would ‘roll over’ their investment for another two months.
The trio used bogus accounts to impress clients into parting with their cash. Two investors parted with £2m after being shown fake company invoices that showed they were supplying the Olympic Village. Others were fooled after Saunders started using doctored invoices from the Park Plaza chain of hotels that suggested they were a major supplier.
The trio were not investigated until the scandal of United States investor and notorious fraudster Bernie Madoff hit the headlines in 2008, jurors heard. Steinberg and Strubel were unanimously convicted of conspiracy to defraud after a five month trial at Southwark Crown Court.They had denied the charges. Saunders earlier admitted conspiracy to defraud and acting as a company director while disqualified. There were tears and shouts of “oh no” from the public gallery as the verdicts were given. Judge Michael Grieve granted Steinberg and Strubel bail ahead of sentence but warned: “I am sure you are fully aware of the fact that it is a very serious offence of which you have been convicted and the inevitable sentence is going to be a custodial sentence.”
Opening the case prosecutor Sarah Forshaw said the trio raked in £79.5 of investor cash and “lived the life of Riley”. She said: “The defendants persuaded people to part with their money on the promise they were going to invest it for them in a good, profitable business, then effectively pocked the money themselves. ‘It made them rich, rich at the expense of people they defrauded – you will hear about Bentleys, Ferraris, Porsches and Rolls Royces, you will hear about yachts and million pound houses. ‘You will also hear about how it was that these defendants, for a times, lived the life of Riley.” She continued: “When their victims found out what these men had done, there were tears and expressions of regret from both of these defendants.
“Probably some of these tears were genuine, they knew by then they were in real trouble, they’d been found out. “Many of the investors from whom they had stolen money had been friends, they had trusted them. “These defendants had rather hoped that the fraud would continue for longer so that their closest friends and even some of their family members would not lose out when the scheme imploded as it did.” She added: “Genuine or not, these expressions of regret were as convincing as the lies they had told in order to persuade people, some of them professional business people, to part with their money – these people are con men and they do it well.”
One balance sheet for SEWL for the year ending 2008 showed revenues of around £100,000, but the following year’s accounts, showed a 2008 end-of-year revenue figure of £43.3million. A purchasing order of £4.71 for light bulbs for the Grosvenor Hotel was doctored to show an order for £47,000. Jeremy Stone, an old school friend of Saunders’ at the prestigious Chigwell School in east London, told how he lost £17 million in the scam. Saunders offered him the chance to invest in SEWL “out of the blue”, saying he needed to borrow £256,400 over 30 days to meet an urgent order. Mr Stone said: “My thought was that small business were struggling for investment, and it was somewhere [private] investors could step in and that could be a very profitable arrangement.”
He added that the first request had not been for a very large amount of money, and he also wanted to support a friend he had lost touch with over the previous few years.
Mr Stone brought in his father Martin, an accountant and management consultant, to carry out all the due diligence and to manage the family’s investment in SEWL. Over the next few years, SEWL apparently seemed so lucrative, Mr Stone employed his father and his sister on salaries of £200,000 and £80,000 respectively to manage the family’s relationship with the company. He invited 14 other business associates to join him in investing in the company. Mr Stone said they were sent hundreds of forged bank statements, invoices and other company documents to keep them on board. He was taking a summer holiday in the summer of 2010 when he received a call from his sister saying she had received a NatWest bank statement for SEWL showing assets of £5 million, with a recent in payment of £5,085,000. But instead of showing a bottom line of in excess of £10 million, the bank statement read £00.00.
It was only then that the Stone family began to realise the company was not legitimate and launched their own investigations. They eventually went to the High Court to ask for a freezing order on the assets of Saunders, Steinberg and their business associates. Mr Stone told the court he ploughed £27 million into the scheme and had £10 million handed back in “returns”. Neither his family nor any of their co-investors have been able to recoup any of the outstanding money.
The trio ran the Ponzi scheme for four years between 2006 and 2010 until they were investigated by the Serious Fraud Office. Steinberg and Strubel claimed they had no reason to suspect the business was anything but legitimate. When the Bernie Madoff scandal broke in 2008, one investor told Steinberg he was “spooked” by the seemingly sky high returns he was getting from SEWL. Steinberg said he was not concerned because Madoff’s business was “a city company”. ‘It was a completely different business to Saunders. I didn’t think SEWL was a Ponzi scheme,’ he said.
Steinberg of Lodge End Radlett, Hertfordshire and Strubel of Princes Park, New Southgate, north London, were both convicted of conspiracy to defraud.
Saunders, of Almonds Avenue, Buckhurst Hill, Essex, admitted the same charge.
A sentencing date is expected to be fixed next week.

Germany’s anti-Islam PEGIDA movement staged rallies in several cities across Europe on Saturday to protest against the arrival of hundreds of thousands of migrants from the Middle East and Africa ...
After almost fizzling out early last year, the movement has regained momentum amid deepening public unease over whether Germany can cope with the 1.1 million migrants who arrived in the country during 2015.
The alleged involvement of migrants in assaults on women in Cologne on New Year’s Eve has also spurred PEGIDA, which says it is proof that German Chancellor Angela Merkel’s welcoming stance to refugees is flawed.
“We must succeed in guarding and controlling Europe’s external borders as well as its internal borders once again,” PEGIDA member Siegfried Daebritz told a crowd on the banks of the River Elbe who chanted “Merkel must go!”
Police in Dresden declined to estimate the number of protesters. German media put the number at up to 8,000, well below the 15,000 originally expected by police.
Hundreds of counter-demonstrators also marched through Dresden under the motto “Solidarity instead of exclusion”, holding up placards saying “No place for Nazis”.
Far-right groups see Europe’s refugee crisis as an opportunity to broadcast their anti-immigrant message. There were 208 rallies in Germany in the last quarter of 2015, up from 95 a year earlier, Interior Ministry data showed.
CALAIS, PRAGUE
Protests also took place on Saturday in other cities, including Amsterdam, Prague and the English city of Birmingham.
In Calais, in northern France, more than a dozen people were arrested during a protest that was attended by more than a hundred people despite being banned, local authorities said.
Thousands of migrants fleeing war and poverty in Africa and the Middle East camp out in Calais, hoping for a chance to make the short trip across the English Channel to Britain.
In Prague, an estimated 2,200 people including both supporters and opponents of Pegida held a series of rival demonstrations around the Czech capital. Police had to intervene in one march when supporters of the migrants came under attack from around 20 people who threw bottles and stones.
Later, around 20 masked assailants threw Molotov cocktails during an attack on a center that collects donations for refugees, forcing the evacuation of the building and injuring one person who was hit by glass, police said.
In Warsaw, hundreds of people waved Polish flags and chanted “England and France are in tears, that’s how tolerance ends”.
“We’re demonstrating against the Islamisation of Europe, we’re demonstrating against immigration, against an invasion,” Robert Winnicki, leader of Poland’s far-right Ruch Narodowy (National Movement), told demonstrators.

Police in Dresden, Germany, saw about 2,000 protesters at a rally organised by the group Patriotic Europeans against the Islamisation of the West, making it the biggest of a coordinated series of demonstrations across European cities …
Nationalist groups in Europe have been galvanized by the unprecedented influx of refugees from Africa, Asia and the Middle East last year. Today similar, smaller PEGIDA-style protests were planned in France, Britain, Poland, the Czech Republic and the Netherlands.
In the Czech capital of Prague, thousands rallied against the influx of refugees and others in support of them and opposing protesters clashed and had to be separated by police.
Martin Konvicka, a leader of the anti-Muslim movement, is calling the influx of refugees an ‘invasion’ that poses a ‘huge threat for us all’. Two other anti-migrant groups are rallying in Prague and another in the second-largest Czech city of Brno.
In Dublin, scuffles broke out between people who had gathered to protest against the launch of PEGIDA in Ireland, and those who attended the launch of the group.
In Birmingham, meanwhile, police said about about 200 PEGIDA supporters and 60 counter demonstrators turned out. Other demonstrations took place in Warsaw and Graz in southern Austria.
In Amsterdam, riot police have clashed with PEGIDA demonstrators as they tried to hold their first protest in the Dutch capital.
A square near Amsterdam city hall that had been earmarked for the rally had to be shut down shortly before the gathering as police and explosives experts examined what police called a ‘suspect package’.
Only about 200 PEGIDA supporters were present, where they were heckled by left-wing demonstrators who shouted: ‘Refugees are welcome, fascists are not!’
Dutch riot police detained several people as officers on horseback intervened to separate the two groups of demonstrators.
Other demonstrations took place in Warsaw, Bratislava and in Graz in southern Austria …
In nearby Calais, fighting broke out as more protesters clashed with the police during a banned demonstration. France’s Interior Ministry had tried to stop the march by members of PEGIDA.
They are particularly angry about the build up of some 5,000 refugees sleeping rough in Calais as they try to get to the UK, where they will claim asylum or disappear into the black economy.
‘This is our home - migrants get out,’ they chanted today as they gathered by the port town’s station.
A large force of CRS riot police confronted around 150 of them, as a senior officer announced on a loudspeaker that all were banned from demonstrating.
The PEGIDA rallies even reached as far as Australia, where a small but vocal group of supporters marched through Canberra. Sherman Burgess, known as the Great Aussie Patriot, and Blair Cottrell, leader of the United Patriots Front, were among the speakers.

That includes me. I don’t object to the political realism involved, but I do struggle to understand why Jews are permitted to claim leading roles in a movement of and for our people.

The reference to Dover was to the National Front demonstration in that town a week ago, which garnered nationalpublicity. Britain First has also been on the campaign trail in Dewsbury, hot on the heels of this ballsy “Christian March” through Luton:

“Hundreds” of African invaders engaged in a widespread orgy of violence over the Christmas weekend in Melbourne, the capital and most populous city in the Australian state of Victoria.
According to local media reports—all of which deliberately failed to report on the race of the rioters—the incidents took place outside a train station in Melbourne’s southeast and outside a Carlton nightclub on Queensberry Street, North Melbourne.
In addition, a further brawl took place later at a police station when groups of the arrested Africans went on a rampage, attacking each other and wounding two policemen in the process.
The violence outside the Kananook Railway Station in Seaford took place on Sunday, December 27, with two large gangs of Africans—estimated at around 200 in total—battled it out with knives, baseball bats, stones, and at least one samurai sword and a machete.
One of the Africans was stabbed several times and admitted to the hospital with what was described as “life-threatening” wounds.
None of the controlled media coverage dared point out the race of the rioters, with only the News.com.au website making a slight reference to their origin by reporting that the fight was believed to have started in the car park of the nearby Frankston Basketball Centre during the “South Sudanese Australian Summer Slam” basketball competition.
However, CCTV and photographs of the fighting showed clearly that the perpetrators were Africans, despite the controlled media’s efforts to ignore that reality.
Police arrested 12 Africans, aged between 19 and 32, and detained them for questioning.
The second incident involved at least 250 Africans outside a Carlton nightclub on Queensberry Street about 5:30 a.m. on Sunday, local media reported. A police car was damaged and a woman suffered minor injuries.
Officers were forced to use pepper spray to control the crowd, and four men and a woman were arrested and will be issued with penalty notices for riotous behavior.
Once again, the controlled media coverage refused to mention the race of the rioters, although their efforts at censorship were also once again undone by the video and still photography footage of the event.
According to the Australian Census Bureau, there are some 19,370 Sudanese-born Africans in Australia. Of that number some 5,911 live in Melbourne. Sudanese are by far the single largest black immigrant group in Australia.
If nearly 500 Sudanese were rioting over Christmas in these two incidents, this means that at least 10 percent of Melbourne’s Sudanese took part in the street violence in the space of one day.
It does not matter where they are and barely even matters when their economic circumstances are better: blacks will behave as blacks.

Public opinion about supposedly ‘vulnerable’ Islamist men on an international level has become so ‘toxic’ that the Guardian no longer wants to offer up its comments section as a vehicle through which people all around the world can say things that the Guardian editors and journalists don’t agree with.
Certain subjects – race, immigration and Islam in particular – attract an unacceptable level of toxic commentary, believes Mary Hamilton, our executive editor, audience. “The overwhelming majority of these comments tend towards racism, abuse of vulnerable subjects, author abuse and trolling, and the resulting conversations below the line bring very little value but cause consternation and concern among both our readers and our journalists,” she said last week.
As a result, it had been decided that comments would not be opened on pieces on those three topics unless the moderators knew they had the capacity to support the conversation and that they believed a positive debate was possible.
The policy would be worldwide, applying to our UK, US and Australia offices, as the issues were global. And, where they were open, it was likely that threads would close sooner than the typical three-day window.

This was not a retreat from commenting as a whole, she said; it was an acknowledgement, however, that some conversations had become toxic at an international level – “a change in mainstream public opinion and language that we do not wish to see reflected or supported on the site”.

This is almost like a return to the 1970s, except with a massively expanded infrastructure for communication, which results in black propaganda and grey propaganda being pushed by all sides of the political spectrum until one side finally cries out in pain and shuts everything down.
The difference now is that if the Guardian staff refuse to facilitate these conversations because they find it to be too painful, it won’t make them go away, it just means that these conversations will be shifted to other locations which are not under the watch of people in their political camp.
One thing that social democrats have never been able to understand is how to win at Information Operations (IO). They had forgotten that some audiences are more sophisticated than others, and that in a completely globalised communication environment in which the internet ‘remembers everything’, their attempts to fabricate a false reality to support their political positions in different temporal and geographical contexts will always be exposed. There will always be some commenter who will ask “Why did they say this thing here, but then this other thing over here? It’s contradictory! It makes no sense at all!”
For example, if a news organisation, such as perhaps the Guardian, or the Huffington Post, writes articles in its North America edition that try to induce feelings of guilt and paralysis among the Americans of European descent by taking the position that the Pilgrims who landed in North America on the Mayflower were actually a collection of religious fundamentalists who ended up carrying out genocide and were subsequently hated and reviled by the Amerindians, then that is an anti-Pilgrim line they can take. It’s based on reality so a person could indeed say it. But they would have to be consistent about it.
A problem emerges for that newspaper if it should happen to mysteriously become pro-Pilgrim in a Middle East and North African context, where the Islamist reactionary ‘refugees’ who are fleeing from the Middle East and North Africa to find ‘a new life’ in Europe, are presented as being beyond reproach because of their similarity to the American Pilgrims. American Pilgrims who are suddenly recast as noble heroes fleeing from a supposedly repressive Europe to find ‘a new life’ in the Americas. ‘Pilgrims fleeing repression’ is also a narrative based on reality. But its moral content and implied policy prescriptions are 180 degrees opposite to that of the aforementioned anti-Pilgrim narrative.
It’s 2016, social democrats. If you constantly contradict yourselves like that, then it becomes possible to find the key which is held in common between the different kinds of propaganda you are creating, by simply comparing them to each other. That’s something which is pretty trivial to do in the era of digital media. So that happened, and will continue to happen.
I would say to everyone who has been struggling against social democrats, that this latest move to restrict speech which is being carried out by the Guardian should be regarded as a victory of sorts over the Guardian. They are in fact conceding that the people in the various ethno-nationalist camps—globally—have a level of influence over mainstream public opinion which has been able to move the mainstream out of lockstep with social democrats.
Counterpropaganda involves shining a light in the darkness, and the Guardian’s desire to retreat into the darkness when hit with that light only further reveals the perniciousness of their propaganda campaign, and also its fundamental weakness.
